December 23, 2024 Update: Bambu Spool Companion v3.0
Upgrade details:
- Increased density of vent holes in the bottle; more, smaller holes than v1.0, resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing design, but slightly increased print time.
- Upgraded lid now compatible with the Bambu circular hygrometer.
- For hygrometer compatibility, the bottle opening size is not compatible with versions 1.0 and 2.0. Please take note.
- Circular hygrometer must be purchased separately.
November 25, 2024 Update: Bambu Spool Companion v2.0
Upgrade details:
- Redesigned structure with added hollow ventilation columns inside to maximize desiccant-to-air contact area, enhancing drying efficiency.
- Reduced vent holes in the bottle body due to the addition of internal ventilation columns, thereby improving print efficiency.
- Lid now features a Bambu logo. Two lid designs are available: a multicolor lid requiring AMS printing and a monochrome lid with a hollowed-out logo, printable without AMS.
- Testing with 0.28mm layer height and 0.2mm layer height showed no discernible differences in appearance or structure but significantly improved print efficiency, completing the print in just 1 hour and 25 minutes, a substantial improvement over the original 2.7 hours.
- Filament usage: 33g.
- The bottle mouth threads of the original and v2.0 versions are completely consistent; lids are interchangeable. The v2.0 lid can be used on the original version, and vice versa.
- The fit remains perfectly snug.
