Valve Index VR Headset Lens Protectors
Print Profile(1)

Description
My Valve Index headset fell victim to sun damaged pixels. I got a replacement, and to avoid it happening again I made these lens protection caps.
I thought it would be nice to add some logos to the caps, and the Aperture Science and Lamba logo from Half-Life fit well.
I made a number of different logo options, and you can find the STL files for all of them here for download.
Please note that there seems to be some variation between diameter tolerance of the gasket on left/right lens and on different headsets. But due to the taper on the gasket, making the cap deep enough allowed them to fit snuggly on all 4 lenses on the 2 headsets I have to test with. It was not easy to measure precisely around the gasket, so I made a number of prototypes to get the fit as good as possible. If they do or don't fit for you then I am interested to know.
The bambu studio print profile is for the Lambda logo left lens and Aperture logo right lens.
You can mess with the print settings, and implement them for the other STLs, but I'd advise keeping the solid infill to maximise light barrier, and keep the support interface layer modifier to minimise contamination of the inner colour from the supports.
Tested printing on my P1S in Bambu PLA matte black and Bambu PLA matte white
