Description
Shipyard - Modular Ship Creator Kit

This is a set of modular pieces that you can build all kinds of different space ships or other sci-fi like structures with. The core of this kit is a set of profiles that you can attach/slide different parts/modules onto like e.g. hull plates and engines, bridges, hangars etc. Some of this parts can in turn accepts submodules to customize it even further. E.g. some of the hull plates have 33x33 or 33x66 slots where you can snap in the sub-modules, like turret mount points, hangar bays, doors etc.
You build by first adding the core profiles that will hold everything togheter. Then you slide on the side covers and the end cap modules (engines, cabins, frontt etc.) to create the ship. And Then you can attach additional details to the magnetic mount points, like turrrets, radars, container etc...

Note! To get all available parts please download the attached zip file in the download section. The print profiles only contains the parts relevant for the selected ship model. In case you are not familiar with the makerworld interface, you have to click the arrow in the big green download button and from there you can find the stl zip file

Modular parts allows you to easily mod/rebuild things | Hot-swappable mount points/rails for props/accessories |
Everything is printable on an A1 mini or larger and do not require an AMS. There are some optional parts that can be printed using AMS to make it more interesting, e.g. text on walls/floors/containers. These are provided in a separate print profile but are not required for the build, the base set contains the same parts with any colors painted on to them.
The print profiles include the parts needed to print the ship shown in pictures. There is also a zip file available to download that containes all available parts/modules that can be used to create your own ships/structures.
The BOM below is also for the ship shown in the pictures. So if you want to create your own creations as well it might be good to get some extra fasteners and magnets.

Features
The moint points use magnets to attach accesories like turrets, radars & launchers. This means they can be rotated freely and hot swapped at any time. This also makes it easy to make custom parts/mods that can be printed and attached here.

There is also a rail system that allows one to install risers and other modules that need a more robust fastening, they are still hot-swappable. E.g. the bridge uses this in the examlple model.
You can optionally also install led lighting, motors, servos etc. into the models. It has been designed to accept the Power Distribution Board (IA005) from Bambu Maker Supply store and other Maker Supply parts like the Potentiometer Board with SH1.0 Connector (IA007), 3030 5V LED Board (KB002), Magnetic Power Connector (XE003) and Self-Locking Button Switch (IA006)

There is a stand that can be printed for the example model that can if wanted provide power to the ship via the magnetic connectors and on usb cable or battery pack.

And as mentioned, if there is any interest in this kit I will be making more content/parts for it. And if there is something you would like to see included feel free to send me an comment with the ideas.
