Hormann Remote Control Cover HSE4 - 868 - BS four-button
The original remote controls can easily break after some use and a couple of drops, and the cost for the case alone is very high, so with this project, I come to your aid!
01/14/2026 - PRINT PROFILE ADDED
Two users reported that the closing cap did not fit correctly, so I added a new print profile, including a protrusion with a recess, a 2mm screw hole, and increased the part size by 2mm to prevent it from breaking if you wished to use the fixing screw
I decided to add a profile and not modify the previous file because all other users, according to reviews, did not experience these issues. I hope this meets the requests received
The file consists of 4 parts. To assemble it, simply disassemble the old broken remote control and carefully extract the green board with the battery. At this point, insert the printed button into the cover and then insert the old remote control's board
To lock and close the remote control, press the ring into the perforated lid and close the remote control
Follow the instructions in the image in the listing
It was designed to be entirely interlocking without visible fasteners, so it's just pressure-fit
I have been testing it for over 4 months, and it has not come off yet, but if you want more security, you can secure the cap with a small screw. Do not use glue because you will no longer be able to open it to change the battery
The object in the images was printed in PLA, and I have not encountered problems with breakage from dropping it or problems keeping it in my pocket
