Description
A portable, pocket-sized Qu-Zi chessboard game, ideal as a pendant, keychain, or refrigerator magnet
Gameplay:
Qu-Zi chess derives its name from its board resembling the Chinese character for "district". A simple and easily learned children's game from Tujia folk traditions, each player controls two pieces. When a player surrounds an opponent's piece in a "dead corner" (effectively trapping it), that piece is removed. The victor is the player who leaves their opponent with no playable moves.Correct moves in Qu-Zi chess offer seemingly limitless possibilities; a single misstep, however, results in immediate defeat. This game therefore cultivates children's intellect and judgment.
Nine 5mm diameter, 1mm thick magnets (optional; the game is playable on a flat surface without magnets)
Magnets enhance gameplay providing satisfying tactile feedback
The smaller board is pendant-sized, perfect for on-the-go play; the larger board adheres to refrigerators for children's entertainment.
Simple printing, no supports needed. The smaller board requires only 8g of filament. Print one and enjoy!
Assembly:
Note the magnet polarities during assembly. Once installed, ensure the chess pieces and board exhibit opposite magnetic polarities.

Gaps are incorporated into the board's magnet recesses. Should you inadvertently reverse a magnet, a small knife will easily remove it.

The pieces are inserted from either of the two lower openings. With magnets installed, the pieces are secure, remaining firmly in place even with significant movement.
