Description
Existing community sundials require metal parts for assembly, including printed screws, which reviews indicate are prone to breakage
This improved version eliminates the need for hardware and screw connections, using a spring-loaded, rotating locking mechanism (see image) for adjustment to any angle
The sundial itself is compatible with the original design; those already owning the original need not print the main sundial body
Variations in material shrinkage rates may result in tolerances. If the fit is loose, consider scaling up the two small circular spring clips by 2-3% in your slicer software before printing
