Description
Christmas Tree Ornament with Shepherd and Sheep from the Nativity Scene
I designed the ornament with an easily removable support structure. For the ornament itself, I use Bambu Lab PLA Sparkle Crimson Red (https://eu.store.bambulab.com/products/pla-sparkle?variant=43959190913243).
The figures were printed with standard support structures. My current favorite material is Prusament Woodfill Linden Light (https://www.prusa3d.com/de/produkt/prusament-woodfill-linden-light-1-kg/). However, I eagerly anticipate Bambu Lab's new wood filament. Remove the support structures from the sheep very carefully, paying special attention to the ears! The standing sheep has a thin platform to ensure stable printing of its slender legs. I print the platform using the same material as the ornament, but you can also use the filament for the sheep itself.
For the fastening, I use Bambu Lab PLA Sparkle Classic Gold (eu.store.bambulab.com/products/pla-sparkle?variant=43959190913243).
I print the Christmas tree clip for hanging the ornament with Bambu Lab PETG HF Forest Green (eu.store.bambulab.com/products/petg-hf), although PLA would also work. However, with PLA I sometimes experienced warping at the tip, which doesn't occur with PETG HF! I use the smooth print bed for this part, and the textured bed for all other components.
