Gutter mount for Camera Solar Panels v2
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is the low profile version to my previous camera solar panel gutter mount. The last one did so well and is still going strong after high winds, tornados, hail, hot temps, and everything else Midwest weather brings. I am learning Fusion360 and figured I would find a better way to make that mount and here we are. I have made the threads and the top locking part better. Instead of having a flat base that sticks out, now the threads are on the side and since the mounting hardware is flexible for the orientation of the solar panel, you can still have it facing the sun. I also added texture to the screws and gave it a .175 tolerance so it will screw in easier and still holed up well but these screws are different from the previous model.
I am still using Elegoo's Rapid PETG because it has held up so well. I do recommend ASA for its UV resistant properties and higher temp ratings. I really need to try ASA but I don't know how to account for the shrinkage yet. This model needs to be printed on its back side so the threads don't get messed up. I'm still printing at a .2 layer height, I am using 3 wall loops, and I used 10% infill with the Adaptive Cubic pattern. I like using Adaptive Cubic because its usually faster than Gyroid and Cubic actually offers more strength. I have found that you need to add more walls in order to get some things to print right, but adding 1 extra wall has been enough for me.
The support settings are different here and I have optimized them for easier removal with this orientation. I use normal auto supports, the style is snug, and the threshold angle is 1 because the threads don't need supports. I changed the Initial layer density to 70%, initial layer expansion is 0, top z distance is .21, bottom z distance is .21, and the support/object xy distance is .5 and this should make the supports pretty easy to remove. I was having issues with the two screw hole threads being supported no matter what I did and the support material was really hard to remove. Adding the .5 spacing helped a lot.
