This cooling system utilizes a 40°C KSD9700 quick-reset switch. The fan automatically activates when the extruder exceeds 45°C and shuts off below 40°C. This addresses the issue of standard KSD9700 temperature control switches, where fans either remain on or off constantly. This is because the operating and reset temperatures of standard KSD9700 switches differ significantly (e.g., 40/45/50/55°C versions all have a 25°C reset temperature). Under typical ambient conditions, the fan cannot be turned off. Therefore, this cooling system employs a quick-reset version, with a reset temperature only 5°C lower than the operating temperature, ensuring everyday functionality.
XY-axis stepper motor cooling is currently undergoing testing and will be integrated with this system in a future update. Stay tuned.
