Christmas Tree Ornament

Christmas tree ornaments, designed for use with the AMS and as individual parts for those without an AMS to assemble.

I myself printed it without the AMS and then assembled it with super glue. For the white accents in the last two layers, I paused at layer 16 and manually changed the filament. Without the star and the trunk, up to nine trees can be arranged on the A1 Mini bed.

For the lettering, I used Biancha Brush Script by Metafontsy from www1001fontscom. However, the font cannot begin with Ä, Ö, and Ü. So, if you want to adapt the text—for example, with your name—and your name happens to be Bärbel, I recommend the font Cameliya by stringlabs. Both fonts are free for private use and are readily processed by the slicer.

If Bambu Studio displays the font after installation but the text still appears in Arial bold, you need to right-click the TTF file and install it for all users, then restart Bambu Studio. The text should then display correctly.

!!!Caution!!!

Bambu Studio may not position the text on the tree correctly, as the font is not among the standard fonts in Bambu Studio. Ensure this is correct before printing, as the text depth is set to begin at the print bed.

If everything is set correctly, it should look like the image below. If so, you can start the print without worry.

However, if there is a gap under the text, you must adjust the text depth accordingly.

To do this, go to the object selection and select the affected text.

Then open the text settings and set the depth to 3mm

If you scale the model larger or smaller, measure the height from the print bed to the top of the tree and use that height as the depth for your text.
