A Delicious Reimagining of a Classic

While the Macintosh enjoys enduring popularity, and countless creators have replicated its iconic design, the original 1998 iMac (iMac G3) remains relatively unexplored. Consider that the iMac G3 was the first Apple desktop computer released after Steve Jobs' triumphant return in 1997, and the inaugural product following his declaration of "Think Different." In a profound sense, the iMac G3 represents the genesis of modern Apple design philosophy.

The front and bottom panels (CD drive, speaker grille, and buttons) have not been replicated. This is due to screen aspect ratio constraints when adapting the design for the Xiaomi touchscreen speaker (screen adaptation left insufficient space for the bottom panel). Therefore, the G3's front panel is not a 100% reproduction. However, on the plus side, this aligns with a pragmatic approach, eliminating elements irrelevant to the device's functionality.

Xiaomi may have discontinued this first-generation touchscreen speaker, but you might still find it through other channels—a highly cost-effective touchscreen smart home device capable of system cracking and third-party app installation. Printing Suggestions

1. Several areas featuring logos utilize multi-color printing; the default print settings are already configured for this. If using monochrome printing, post-print coloring should be relatively straightforward.
2. The default front panel features vertical stripes (in the actual iMac G3, these stripes are integrated within the transparent casing; the surface is smooth and glossy). A smooth version is also provided as an alternative.
3. Using transparent filament is recommended to faithfully reflect the G3's original design philosophy.
