Rope for Adria Twin Supreme Bathroom Cabinet

At my dear wife's request, I designed this rope retainer as a safety precaution against the bathroom cabinet doors falling open. Specifically, this design is for the cabinet with side mounting. Some of you might recognize the other one from my rope set for the sleeping area of an SGX. You can find that one on my account here. In addition to the printed parts, you will need an M3.5x15mm wood screw and about 50cm of 6mm bungee cord, which you can get from your local hardware store.

Assembly (for a 2023 model):

1. Remove the left front panel along with the aluminum brackets.
2. Remove the top screw from the lower bracket on the front panel, then attach the holder with side mounting using the M3.5x15 screw. Reinstall the front panel.
3. Transfer the height of the installed holder to the opposite side and mark the depth at approximately 25mm. The point where these measurements intersect is where you need to drill the hole for the second holder. Pre-drilling is optional, but be cautious not to drill completely through. I chose not to pre-drill. Secure the second holder using the screw previously removed from the other side.
4. Knot the rope on both sides, ensuring the distance is about 5-7 cm shorter than the distance between the installed holders. Push the rope into the holders and you're finished!

1. Unscrew the left front panel along with the aluminum brackets.
2. Remove the upper screw from the lower bracket on the front panel, then attach the holder with side mounting using the M3.5x15 screw. Reinstall the front panel.
3. Transfer the height of the installed holder to the opposite sidewall and mark the depth at about 25mm. The intersection of both measurements will be the location for your screw hole for the second holder. You may want to pre-drill, but be careful not to drill all the way through. I didn’t. Then, attach the second holder using the screw you removed from the other side.
4. Knot the rope on both sides so that the distance is about 5-7 cm shorter than the distance between the installed holders. Press the rope into the holders, and you're done!
