DJI NEO Protective Case [Honeycomb Heat Dissipation]

I initially planned to create a NEO protective case myself, but after searching MakerWorld, I found numerous existing designs. I discovered a very good one by “K宝fpv” (thank you for sharing!), and modified it to include honeycomb heat dissipation. I also added a version that uses a latch instead of magnets, offering an alternative. The latch design is inspired by my watercolor box model. (I also slightly modified the hinge area of the case to reduce overhang.)

This portable case for the DJI NEO easily fits into small bags, protecting the NEO from damage caused by other items. A short segment of filament suffices for the hinge, and four 6x3mm strong magnets are used (those generally purchased online are about 2.6mm thick; if yours are not undersized, they might protrude slightly). The latch version works without magnets. Magnets can be added later if the latch breaks (or if your magnets haven't arrived yet). No supports are needed.

The original lens cap cannot be used. The original intent of “K宝fpv’s” case design is convenience—the lens is protected once inside the case and doesn't require an extra cap. The hole is for directly plugging in the charging cable inside the case.
