Description
I have several Sterlite dryboxes, but no thermo/hydrometer inside to check the levels. I don't want to drill an opening in the box, so figured i needed a mount for them. Found a good model, but the magnets I had were considerably larger [.475 in x .078 in or 12mmx2mm]. So we tweaked it…
- Added larger sections to hold the magnets in as PRESS-FIT w/ a hole to help push them out (if needed)
- Used a drop of glue to secure them (optional)
- Added an offset to raise up the magnet face to be more level to the top of the thermo/hydrometer, thus the whole unit sits more flush to the inside of the wall/lid
- Does use SUPPORT, but is super easy to pull
- Used .4 nozzle with .20mm layer height
- 12mmx2mm magnets, 4 per mount
