A music box model styled after a vintage gramophone or phonograph. Wind it up by turning the spring knob on the black record clockwise. Release the knob, keeping the needle on the record, to play. Lift the needle to pause the music.

This model requires the TuZhu music box spring kit - K014, or is compatible with Sankyo music box movements, 18-note standard spring music boxes. Note the dimensions of the three mounting holes highlighted in red in the image below; correct hole alignment is crucial for compatibility.

This model has been updated with a petal-shaped speaker and more intricate casing details. Visit my profile to see which version you prefer.

The entire model is 3D printed; the music box movement must be purchased separately (required screws are included with the purchased movement; no additional screws are needed).

Sankyo movements purchased on Taobao are slightly more expensive than the TuZhu spring kit - K014, but offer a wider musical selection. TuZhu kits are less expensive but offer only one melody. The choice is yours.

For gifting, add a personalized message in your slicing software and engrave it onto the flat surface of the box for a truly unique keepsake! My logo can also be omitted.
