Description

Note: I am not very good at making beautiful covers to attract other people's attention, so the cover photo may be ugly, but in fact the finished quality of the printed object is quite good. I hope that friends can download it and take a look. Later, I will try to shoot a short assembly video.

3D printing players or other geeks who like to DIY tools at home always have to buy many kinds of screws. As the number of screws increases, it will become troublesome to store the screws. I used to put the screws in a bag in a drawer, but every time I took them out, I would search for them for a long time, which was really troublesome. So I wanted to print a box specifically for storing screws. I looked for other people's screw boxes on the website, but none of them could satisfy me completely, so I made this simple screw box myself. It has the following features:

First: All parts are 3D printed, and no other tools are required, whether glue or stickers.

Second: A screw drawer can hold up to 16 types of screws. If you have more types of screws, you can print multiple drawers and easily connect them together through slides for easy management.

Third: Each screw slot has plenty of space. Except for the rarely used extra-long screws, it is no problem to put hundreds of screws in one grid. Drawers with larger single-slot space will be released later, and everything is compatible.

Fourth: This is the biggest highlight of my design, that is, the fully customizable label. By dividing a label into two parts, hundreds of screws on the market can be turned into a free combination of dozens of labels. The labels can be freely reorganized and reused, which is very convenient. (I have made common model labels, you can print the corresponding number according to your needs. If there is no label you need, you can also easily make it according to my size)

Fifth: The label is fixed to the storage box through a slot with carefully designed tolerances (if you encounter tolerance assembly problems, you can slightly scale the label appropriately). It is very stable and not easy to fall off. It is also very convenient to remove. Everything is customizable!

Sixth: There is room for upgrade in compatibility. In addition to vertical stacking, it can also be stacked horizontally through the bottom plate, which also leaves room for subsequent upgrades!

More options will be released soon!
