Black and white flash cards are a type of visual training for newborns. It is recommended to choose a brightly lit place, where the newborn is awake and in a good mood, and let them lie on their back in bed. The operator holds the black and white card and places it 20 centimeters above the newborn's face, enticing the newborn to look at the card.
Generally speaking, a newborn's eyes have a focal length of about 23 centimeters. If you want them to look at something, it is best to place it within this distance. When an object moves slowly, the baby will also move its eyes slightly.
