Description
This project introduces a self-designed WDT (Weiss Distribution Technique) tool that ensures even coffee grounds distribution in your portafilter for optimal extraction and enhanced flavor.
I created two versions of the tool:
- With Magnet Integration
- Features a hole for a 10x3 mm magnet.
- A printing pause is required in the slicer to insert the magnet during the 3D printing process.
- The magnet is secured with superglue to prevent it from being attracted to the printer nozzle.
- Without Magnet Integration
- A simpler version ready for use right after printing.
- Aliexpress Magnets
For the needles, I used modified safety pins with a diameter of 0.9 mm, allowing precise distribution. This tool is a perfect DIY project for coffee enthusiasts looking to elevate their espresso game!
