Description
An extended mount compatible with various action cameras, available in three lengths: 120/150/180mm (center-to-center distance between screw holes).
I explored numerous similar models, many exhibiting shortcomings:
- Many models employ a hollow design, offering negligible material savings (a mere few grams), yet significantly compromising bending and torsional resistance, and increasing susceptibility to wobble.
- Some models fail to fully consider 3D printing characteristics, utilizing curved connections, resulting in subpar print quality near the base.
Therefore, I created this.
I printed using PETG, with 15% infill, 3 walls, and no supports required. PLA should also suffice.
