Description
This is a convenient and compact bench vice (80mm*90mm*40mm), with a clamping range of 0-40mm, a clamping width of 40mm, and a bottom clamping range of 35mm (suitable for desktops within 35mm)
Good printing results, no hardware parts required, very smooth
Assembly method:
- Insert the longest bolt from the back, use the printed circlip to pass through from the side and secure the bolt
- From the other direction, take the slide, align it with the threaded hole, and rotate the bolt to screw the slide in
- Screw in the short bolt from below the vice, installation is complete
- To avoid the slide getting stuck, clean the skirt thoroughly after printing
- If you encounter high thread resistance, you may need to rotate it back and forth several times to smooth the threads, to avoid breaking the bolt

*This model, from modeling to testing, has been optimized for FDM 3D printers, resulting in good print quality and minimal supports. Considering the force direction on the vice, it was specifically optimized to ensure that the printed small vice has a certain strength. I hope you like this model.
*At the request of netizens, I have added a desktop clamping pad (separate print profile):This pad is Print in Place, it has internal threads and is rotatable, making the clamping to the desktop more secure. (The pad is 9mm thick; adding it will reduce the maximum clamping range by 9mm (suitable for desktops within 26mm). You need to decide whether to use it based on your desktop thickness. To install and remove the pad, press down firmly on the top of the pad with your hand and rotate the bolt. This pad is only compatible with the original model; third-party configurations with increased or decreased scale are not suitable.

*Modified on December 12, 2024: Strengthened long bolt strength, modified bolt details, increased wall count, layer contact area (already modified in the print profile)
*New print profile added on January 13, 2025: Long bolt printed horizontally, tested by me with PLA printing, it will not break no matter how hard you try. If the feedback is good, I will later modify the first print profile to use this bolt
