Filament Spool Storage Box—Pure PLA Version

Background:

I bought too much filament, and the storage boxes I found online were okay, but most required sealing rings and snap-fit designs;

1、Sealing rings: I found that even the cheapest ones on Taobao cost over four yuan each, which I wasn't willing to pay for; 0.0

2、The pins for snap-fit designs don't meet the required material strength for PLA, and I would have to buy them separately;

Actually, I only bought one extra spool! I didn't want to make it that complicated, so!

Product Introduction:

Print this, then use some waterproof tape from home to wrap around the seams, and you can achieve a seal;

Advantages: No need to buy other accessories, everyone should have waterproof tape at home~ or masking tape?

Disadvantages: Since it is made of pure PLA material, there is no humidity meter window, so it is difficult to observe the internal conditions, it is best not to store it for more than a month without checking it! Let it become Schrödinger's cat!

PS: The current seal can be waterproof if there is a little weight on top, but for safety, it's best to wrap it with waterproof tape.

In the future, when I have more filament spools, I will officially design version 2.0 (with snap-fits and sealing rings).
