Description
- An autumnal fan, or scaled down for use as a leaf-veined bookmark. At 450% scale, the fan face measures 20cm in length, the handle 13cm. A single-piece print maximizing the A1 build plate. Comfortable, practical, and exceptionally sturdy, it generates a powerful breeze!
The first plate comprises the fan ribs. For optimal results, it is recommended to unify all line widths (0.4 or 0.42) during printing, employing the Arachne wall generator, and a 0.16mm layer height. This will yield a more natural slope and transition on the top surface, while sharpening the pointed edges.
【A 0.2mm layer height print using default parameters was also tested without issue. Figure 1 showcases a 0.2mm line width print using default parameters, Figures 5 & 6 depict the recommended settings, highlighting superior detail;）】
- The second and third plates form the fan face. The second plate uses a 0.32mm layer height with 2 layers; the third, 0.16mm with 1 layer. The number of layers can be adjusted by modifying the Z height as needed. The image depicts a single 2-layer piece. Adhere the fan face to the ribs using super glue or a similar adhesive, or substitute with colored paper.
- Each layer of the fan face weighs 4.5g, the ribs, with default infill, weigh 14g, and 16g with 100% infill. It is advisable to limit the total number of fan face layers to four to avoid an imbalanced design!
