Hello everyone,

I was searching for a small gift to give the children to take to school on the last day before Christmas to give the teachers a little something special.

It should be something useful but also personalized for everyday use.

I quickly found a wonderful model here on MakerWorld by benskigomez https://makerworld.com/en/models/448782?from=search.

Every teacher can always use sticky notes.

An excellent foundation was found: I then remixed it to meet my requirements:

  1. I found the Post-it compartment significantly too shallow. In the original, only a very small stack of Post-its would fit. However, I wanted to accommodate a large, full stack, like those you can buy. I have now adjusted the depth of the object so that a complete stack can be placed inside. The compartment holds sticky notes up to 80x80cm. Most self-adhesive Post-its are 75x75cm, which I also used (450 pieces are shown in the photo)
  2. Since the Post-it compartment is now deeper, I have added a recess at the front to easily remove the last sheets later.
  3. The text in the Post-it compartment was completely removed (it was too complex for me and also the wrong language), and I added my own simple creation with salutation, name, and thank you, for example: Ms. ***** - Thank you
  4. You can easily personalize the individual text elements yourself. Simply insert your desired name or text at these points and color it according to your preferences using the paint bucket tool.

(Instructions: Select objects in the process, then find Text 1, 2, or 3 in the list and click it. Then you can use the text symbol at the top to change the text, font, and size. I used the font “Ink Free” and only colored the text superficially, not on the sides of the letters, to prevent any possible color gradients.

  5. I have separated the decorative pen so that you can print and edit it separately from the object. I colored it to look like a pencil. You can also change the colors here. I recommend not scaling this pen smaller, as otherwise, the fine lines on the surface will disappear in the slice and it will simply be printed without black lines.

However, I used this principle because I wanted to add the class mascot (in our case a frog: Source: https://makerworld.com/en/models/37088?from=search#profileId-35437) to the pen. A flat surface was ideal for this; therefore, I scaled it to 80% in the object in the photo.

    Dimensions: 15cm x 10cm x 4cm

I think it is now a useful and personalized gift for every teacher. Whether for Christmas, before the summer holidays, or just because. You can certainly also delight other office workers or your boss with it.

I printed it on my P1S with original Bambu Lab PLA Basic filament and used the new Cool Plate SuperTrack print bed. Remember to change the print bed in your slicer if you use a different one.

Now I hope that I can also bring you joy with my remix.

I would be very grateful for appreciative comments, likes, and ratings, or even boosts.

Feel free to upload a photo of your Post-it holder.

    Have fun printing
