Description
Fueled by caffeine and curiosity. ☕
Like many people, I printed a popular Christmas tree.
For the decoration, I made these mini light bulbs/ balls.
they are only 1cm in diameter.
With a bit of fiddling, because they are very small, you can attach them to fairy lights.
Fairy lights are usually cheap mini LED strings. You can find them on Ali, Temu, Amazon, etc.
For this tree, I used a string with 10 lights. These cost me €0.80
If they don't want to stay in place, a drop of (hot) glue works wonders. I didn't need it.
Did I already say that they are small?
You can print a plate with 5 balls in 20 minutes.
Plate adhesive is very important.
