Mao Zedong(December 26, 1893 – September 9, 1976), courtesy name Runzhi(originally Yongzhi, later changed to Runzhi), pen name Ziren. A native of Xiangtan, Hunan. The leader of the Chinese people, a great Marxist, a great proletarian revolutionary, strategist, and theorist, the principal founder and leader of the Communist Party of China, the People's Liberation Army, and the People's Republic of China, the great pioneer of the Sinicization of Marxism, a great patriot and national hero in modern Chinese history, the core of the first generation of central leadership collective of the Communist Party of China, a great man who led the Chinese people to fundamentally change their own destiny and the face of the nation.
