This is a fun little rubber band shooter, I was inspired by a recoil escapement arm used in mechanical clocks, it got me thinking about using something similar as a trigger mechanism and this is the result!
You can easily load 3 bands on the spur and up to 5 if you're patient lol.
****This trigger is completely mechanical and requires no hardware BUT please be aware, the trigger is “double action” in that you pull the trigger but it will not fire until the trigger is released.
There is no hardware required to put this together.
****************Directions********************
- Insert bolts into the left side of the handle
Place the “spur” and the “trigger” onto their corresponding bolts in this orientation-
- Slide the other side of the handle onto the bolts & set pins
- Screw on the bolt caps (DO NOT PUT THESE ON TIGHT)
- Load rubber bands and fire! (Load rubber bands from the backmost spur to the front most)
