I find labels that need to be affixed inside the dry box impractical.

I also didn't want to drill mounting holes in the box to attach a label holder, and I don't find stickers aesthetically pleasing.

Therefore, as my second design, I have developed a label holder that can be clipped onto the outside of the dry box.

I had 3 label holders printed simultaneously on one print plate, and Bambu Studio showed me less than 22g of filament and less than 43 minutes.

No supports are needed.

It is printed in one piece, so nothing needs to be assembled.

I have now printed the holders several times without any problems.

I use the 4l muesli containers from Skroam (they look like the images of the Wildone container; unfortunately, I cannot test whether the Wildone has the same dimensions):

The Skroam containers have 3 recesses on each side. The holder clips onto the two front recesses, so the container can also be carried without the holder falling off.

Normally, however, I only attach the holders to the box after I have placed it with the filament spool on the shelf.

It looks great, is easily recognizable, and my small hygrometer holder is still easily readable.

I have designed three different label plates for the holder, with the inscriptions PLA, PETG, and TPU.

The colors of the letters and the plates can be adjusted in Bambu Studio.

Likewise, the number of labels to be printed.

For 4 black/white PLA plates, Bambu Studio showed 4.58g of filament and less than 17 minutes, including the purge tower.

The plates are so thin that they simply fall into the holder recess and are also very easy to remove again.

Nevertheless, they cannot fall out when carrying the box.

Update February 9, 2025: Due to repeated requests, I have now reduced the size of the holder recess so that the label plates now fit more securely. They can be slid into the holder. To remove them, simply press against one side with your finger. Then they can be easily removed. Due to the narrower recess, they no longer wobble and cannot fall out even if the holder is turned upside down. Otherwise, everything has remained the same.
