Parametric A1 Mini Poop Bin (Magnetic)
Print Profile(3)

Description
This one, is not just another poop bin, because it's dockable and uses magnets to suck your bin into place, aligned and tight.
It uses the “print-pause" technique to insert the magnets mid-print. So no glue, and no risk of them falling out (from repeated snapping under magnetic force), ever.
And best of all, the dimension of the bin is fully Customizable!

What You Will Need
- A poop deflector. By far, this one is my favorite.
- 4 pieces of 8x2mm neodymium magnets.
- Small piece of 3M double-sided tape.
Assembly Instructions and Caveats
- IMPORTANT: Make sure the magnets are facing the right directions and align the polarities properly. They need to attract rather than repel when you put them together. Don't make a mistake there, or you would need to do over just because of the wrong alignment.
- There will be two pauses during the print, in which you need to insert those magnets into the slots.
- 2 will be in horizontal position (lying flat on the print bed). These are super easy to insert.
The other 2 will be in standing position (as pouches) where you will insert them in vertical direction. These are a bit harder to insert.
I'd use something hard (non-steel, like rubber handle of a screwdriver) to gently tap them in. I found that by using your fingers, you may risk pushing them too hard and potentially cause some unwanted layer line shift.
- If you need to change the orientation of the model in the slicer (for whatever reason), be sure to have the pouches or slots facing your direction or any spot that your hand can move in freely to insert the magnets. A little over the center and it will be blocked by the rail or extruder head, and you will have hard time doing this.
- Once all parts are printed. First, snap the bin into the dock, and start attaching the tape on the back of the dock. And then peel off the other side of the tape. At this point, it will be easier to position the dock/mount on the A1 Mini. In fact, this is the easiest and most accurate way of doing it.

IMPORTANT (if you are customizing)
(Ignore this if you are using the default profiles)
Setting your own pause timing is STRICTLY REQUIRED, or you will lose the only opportunity to insert the “pouch” magnets! But don't worry, even if this is your first time, it's actually pretty easy to do. See the image below.

- You want to customize both the Bin and the Dock and be sure to use the exact same parameters for the magnets to align properly.
- And finally, the instruction number 3 above will also apply. Please do that for your convenience.
That's it. Hope this helps and happy printing! :)
