Description

This 3D design provides a practical solution for keeping filament dry during storage. The holder is designed to fit into the center of a filament spool with a width between 57mm and 70mm and can be easily assembled using a threaded mechanism, making it adaptable to different spool sizes.

I primarily use it for storing my TPU and PETG filaments, ensuring they stay moisture-free for optimal printing results.

Moisture Control with Silica Gel

The holder includes space for silica gel, which helps reduce humidity in the storage environment. The design promotes efficient airflow to ensure even moisture absorption, making it suitable for use with an AMS (Automatic Material System) or other filament storage setups.

Optional Hygrometer Integration

This design also allows for the optional integration of a hygrometer, enabling you to monitor the humidity levels inside the holder. While it’s not required, this feature provides more control over filament storage conditions.
