Description

Merry Christmas and Feliz Navidad!

 

Enjoy this festive ornament of a cactus enjoying the holiday season.

 

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

 

Filaments Used:

PLA BambuLab Basic Black Transmission Distance: 0.6

PLA BambuLab Basic Brown Transmission Distance: 2

PLA BambuLab Basic Gold Transmission Distance: ??

PLA BambuLab Basic Jade White Transmission Distance: 5

This print uses 4 unique filaments

 

Swap Instructions:

Start with Black

At layer #12 (1.04mm) swap to Brown

At layer #15 (1.28mm) swap to Gold

At layer #19 (1.6mm) swap to Jade White for the rest.

 

For the blue, change the colors as follows:

 

Filaments Used:

PLA BambuLab Basic Black Transmission Distance: 0.6

PLA BambuLab Basic Blue Transmission Distance: 4

PLA BambuLab Basic Jade White Transmission Distance: 5

Swap Instructions:

Start with Black

At layer #12 (1.04mm) swap to Blue

At layer #18 (1.52mm) swap to Jade White for the rest.

 

Yup, I store my PLA in the open air. Dreadful habit, I know. If you share this terrible habit and your print has some stringing, I find a stiff toothbrush is quite effective at removing them. The more stiff, the better. If there are really stubborn ones still hanging on, I break them with the tip of a pair of tweezers, then brush it again to remove them. Most are gone after that. Cheers!
