Everyone knows this feeling:
The print is finished, the filament retracts, gets stuck or breaks – and the PTFE tube is stuck in the AMS hub. Without the right tool, removing it quickly becomes a hassle
This tool enables a clean, safe release of the PTFE tube, without unnecessary pulling or damage

⚠️ Important Note – necessary preparatory work
So that the PTFE Tube Remover can be used correctly, a small modification to the AMS hub is required:
- The opening on the AMS hub must be expanded to 6 mm.
- This modification serves solely for the remover to fit properly.
- The PTFE tube itself is not changed.
- The expansion can be done by hand.
- Then deburr the opening 3–4 times.
- Time required: approx. 5 minutes.
After the modification, the AMS hub can be mounted normally and used again
