Description
This camera adapter for the Blink Outdoor 3 camera fits a pipe with a diameter of 49mm. This corresponds to approximately 1½" or DN40.
For assembling the components, I recommend a metal screw fitting for M5 screws with melt-in threads. This is a more stable method compared to printed screws and threads (note the corresponding print profile).
Nevertheless, I have added a second print profile for printed screws. This also worked for me, but the printed screws should only be tightened slightly to avoid damaging the threads!
The connection of part 2 and part 3 is intended as follows:
- A little superglue for the surfaces on parts 2 and 3
- Securing the parts with an M5 screw to align the edges (if necessary, insert melt-in threads for part 2 beforehand, part 3 has a printed M5 thread for this)
Materials used for metal threads:
- 1 x M5x15mm screw
- 2 x M5x20mm screw
- 3 x M5 melt-in threads
