Description

As a model maker, I made an airbrush turntable primarily for my own needs. It's a little stronger than usual, so it can handle even the toughest parts.

It is primarily made for an A1 printer, but I think it can be scaled for an A1 mini.

It contains two bases (higher and lower) depending on needs. If used in a spray booth, a handle can be added for easier turning.

If you're painting some small things with a brush, check out this model

The top plate has a good grip, so it is easy to turn with your hands. For smoother rotation, it is recommended that you add a little grease to the shaft of the base. It has a hollow shaft into which you can add weight for better stabilization if needed.

The base contains holes for self-adhesive anti-slip silicone gel pads, which you can get on Temu or Aliexpress.

Printed perfectly. The void in the centre of the base is perfect for a one kilo weight to give it some mass and greater stability, holding it firmly on my bench. I may need to print a few more to keep sevaral minutures on the go at once. Would like an option to extend the top plate for bigger items like helmets (or my batman cowl)

Thank you for your comment. I have a profile with a helmet holder that I designed for a user here, and I can share it with you if you're interested.

I'm new to this, I love you setup. Can you share a link to buy the lights? Do they get covered with paint? How does the vent work in the back? Thanks!

I use it for my airbrush booth, alligator clips can be easily inserted into the holes, and it is absolutely simple and practical Thumbs up, exactly what I was looking for, and one of the best functioning models

I resized it to 125% to fill the X1C plate. I used pennies to weight down the base, put rubber feet, and used dry PTFE to lubricate. Works very well but unfortunately the handle breaks off right above the threads. Works just fine with the handle though.

Thanks! It's possible that the thread clearance decreases as the model gets larger. I wouldn't know because I haven't tried it.

I am just starting out with airbrushing and was looking for a good turntable This model fit the bill It printed superbly and the turntable rotates exceptionally smoothly—even without lubricant The option to print a taller base is fantastic, even though I haven't used it yet A potentially excellent addition would be an even flatter version

Thanks! Nice color btw! By the flatter version, do you mean the version without holes on top?

No, the holes are great. I mean a version where the turntable is even lower - closer to the table.

That would require a different approach, especially to the upper part, which essentially makes this model what it is. It would have to be shortened, losing the axis and stability on which it rotates. In that case, the handle would have to be modified.

boosting a second time because I just had a really hard to scan project go very easily because of this little green turntable. hands down the most useful thing I’ve printed. Would have to spend hundreds of dollars to buy this at a store.

The print worked great. I greased it with silicone spray so it would spin more easily
