Description
Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (April 22, 1870 - January 21, 1924), originally named Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, was from Simbirsk (now Ulyanovsk city) in Russia. He was a great proletarian revolutionary, statesman, theorist and thinker, who served as Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the Soviet Union (i.e., Premier of the Soviet Union), Chairman of the Council of Workers' and Peasants' Defense, and other important positions.
