Segmented Articulated Snake New Year Toy
Print Profile(1)

Description
A toy that can be said to have been played by almost everyone born in the 80s and 90s. It was often sold outside primary schools in the past, but my family's financial situation wasn't good when I was young, and even food was a problem; I couldn't afford to buy extra toys. Now that I've grown up and have a 3D printer, I suddenly had the idea to design and print one myself, making a once-unobtainable object a reality, turning thoughts into things.
This bamboo-section snake uses a split printing method, requiring no supports and is easy to assemble.
It is mainly divided into the snake's head, body, and tail. Holding the tail and slightly changing its direction causes the snake to sway from side to side, as if alive.
The snake's body is printed in separate segments, allowing you to choose your favorite colors and arrange them for printing (snake body parts have been separated into a dedicated tray); if the fixing pins loosen, after inserting them into two segments, slightly heat them with a lighter or soldering iron to create a small protrusion to prevent movement.
The snake's eyes can be fitted with 6mm realistic-looking eyes. The tail is designed as a whistle, with a small ball inside that rattles when shaken, like a rattlesnake. Of course, you can also blow into it, but be mindful of whether the materials used can be directly contacted with the mouth.
