A 3D-printed model of Lockheed's P-38 Lightning, a twin-boom fighter aircraft from World War II known for its unmatched performance. The model showcases the aircraft's distinctive design, featuring dual booms extending from the engines and a central streamlined fuselage housing the cockpit.

The design is optimized for clean and easy FDM printing.
For best results, print with the provided orientation (as in print profile) to ensure a smooth outcome.
✨ This guarantees a sleek, high-quality finish with virtually invisible layer lines.

If you are aviation enthusiast like me than this model is perfect for display at your home, office, or as part of a historical collection.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • The propeller is delicate and should be removed carefully—allow the build plate to cool slightly and use a scraper for safe removal.
  • Superglue is recommended for assembling all parts securely.
  • Tip: Before attaching the roundel decals to the fuselage, gently bend them with your thumb to match the curve of the body.
