Description

BirdLine - A Miniature Lamp with Urban Charm

BirdLine is a striking miniature desk lamp inspired by the timeless design of urban utility poles. Featuring birds perched atop the poles and a realistic red-and-white sidewalk base, this unique lamp brings a touch of city life to your space. The glowing COB LED strip, serving as the power line, adds a captivating and functional lighting element, making BirdLine as practical as it is visually engaging.

Perfect for desks or bedside tables, BirdLine combines creativity, realism, and functionality. Its thoughtfully designed 3D-printed parts make it an enjoyable project to assemble and a stunning piece to showcase in any modern or urban-themed setting.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Prepare the COB LED Circuit
    • Solder the positive (+) and negative (-) cables to the COB LED strip.
    • Carefully place the LED strip within the designated grooves in each utility pole.
  2. Thread the Power Cables
    • Feed the power cables through the poles and down to the bottom of the base.
    • Make sure to route the cable through the end-sidewalk stone and base before threading into the utility poles.
  3. Secure the Utility Poles
    • Attach the top part of each pole using the "lid" pieces and screw in the insulator-style screws.
    • Ensure the screws are tight, so the lid sits flush against the pole. Small gaps are fine and add realism.
  4. Assemble the Base and Sidewalk Stones
    • Attach the red-and-white sidewalk stones around the base.
    • Fit the poles into their designated slots. If the fit feels loose, use a small dab of hot glue for a snug fit.
  5. Add the Finishing Touch
    • Place the birds on top of each pole to complete the urban scene.
  6. Power Up
    • Connect the COB LED to a power source, and enjoy the warm glow of BirdLine!
