SnoutCover - A Protective Nose Cover for Dogs with DLE

Meet SnoutCover, an innovative nose cover designed to help dogs with Discoid Lupus Erythematosus (DLE). Inspired by the challenges faced by our beloved pitbull, Billie, SnoutCover offers a comfortable, breathable, and effective solution for dogs dealing with sensitive or damaged noses.

SnoutCover serves dual purposes:

1. Sun Protection: Safeguards the sensitive skin of the nose from harmful UV rays, allowing safe outdoor time.
2. Treatment Retention: Prevents dogs from licking off medication or ointments, ensuring effective absorption.

Key Features:

• Comfortable Fit: Made from soft, flexible TPU, it provides a smooth surface that won’t irritate the dog’s nose.
• Ventilation Design: Includes side and front holes to allow easy breathing and maintain a moist environment for the nose.
• Secure Yet Adjustable Straps: Equipped with single-loop and triple-loop adjusters (strap tensioners) and a quick-release buckle for easy placement and a snug fit.
• Unobstructed Eating: Designed to cover only the top of the nose, allowing dogs to eat comfortably while wearing the cover.

Printing Recommendations:

• Material: TPU for flexibility and comfort of the main part, tensioners can be printed with PETG for strength.
• Orientation: Print standing on the front face to ensure smooth layer lines for minimal irritation.

1. Prepare the Straps:
   • Thread the straps through the single and triple loops to adjust tension as needed.
   • Attach the quick-release buckle to the end loop for convenience.
2. Adjust for Fit:
   • Ensure the fit is snug but not overly tight to avoid discomfort.
3. Placement:
   • Secure the cover over the dog's nose, adjusting the straps for comfort and ensuring proper ventilation.
