District 9 Mecha
Have you been impressed by the powerful weapon output of the lobster mech at the end of the movie "District 9"? The movie's protagonist drives the lobster mech from District 9 to break out from the military, and its alien weapon can turn all living beings into ashes instantly. Based on the movie stills and online clips, I designed and replicated the lobster mech from District 9, and I made extensive modifications and tests to adapt it to my 3D printer. The model has a lot of parts, and most of them require glue to stick them together. When finished, it will be a perfect desktop decoration.
The following is an assembly tutorial for each part
I also designed the District 9 logo "No Humans allowed" to be closer to the theme of the movie. The logo model is also included in the 3mf file I uploaded.
