December 23, 2024 Update: Bambu Spool Companion v3.0
Updates:
- Increased density of bottle perforations—more, smaller holes than v1.0, resulting in enhanced aesthetics, but slightly extended print time.
- Upgraded lid compatible with Bambu circular hygrometer.
- Due to hygrometer compatibility, the bottle mouth size is not compatible with versions 1.0 and 2.0. Please note this change.
- Circular hygrometer must be purchased separately.
November 25, 2024 Update: Bambu Spool Companion v2.0
Updates:
- Redesigned structure with added internal hollow ventilation columns, maximizing desiccant-air contact for improved drying.
- Reduced bottle perforations to compensate for ventilation columns, enhancing print efficiency.
- Lid features an updated Bambu logo. Two lid versions are available: a multicolor lid requiring AMS printing and a monochrome,镂空 logo lid printable without AMS.
- Testing indicates that 0.28mm layer height yields identical results to 0.2mm in terms of appearance and structure, while significantly improving print efficiency—printing completes in 1 hour and 25 minutes, a considerable reduction from the original 2.7 hours.
- Material usage: 33g.
- Versions 2.0 and the original share identical bottle-mouth threads, allowing for interchangeable lids. Therefore, v1.0 and v2.0 components are mutually compatible.
- Precise fit remains unchanged.
