No Extra Hardware Foldable AMS Side Spool Holder

A simple but carefully designed foldable side spool holder for the AMS that only requires the hardware included with the printer (including the leftover screws used in shipping). Please note that this design is likely not suitable for AMS 2 Pro. 

There are two model available to suit different AMS units. One version is likely to be compatible for most AMS units out there, and the other is specifically designed to fit my 4 rib AMS unit (09/2024) for best stability. The compatible model is checked with numerous existing AMS side spool designs on Makerworld, so I would believe it would fit most AMS units. Unfortunately, when I had tried my compatible design as well as trying another popular model from someone else, I felt both designs weren't secure enough for me. This led to the creation of the one specifically designed to fit my model but it probably won't fit others :P So you should probably use the compatible model, but personally I don't like how loose it is just so it's compatible with various AMS units. Hardware needed:

• Original spool holder bracket
• 3x Long self tapping screws used in shipping
• 6x Short self tapping screws used in shipping

Assembly instructions:

• Use 2x short self tapping screws to secure the spool holder bracket

  

• Use 2x long self tapping screws to attach the end assembly to the AMS bracket

  

• Use 2x short self tapping screws to reinforce the AMS bracket hinge

  

• Use 2x short and 1x long self tapping screws to reinforce the AMS bracket

  

• Make sure the screws are flush with the surface before installing onto the AMS
