Description

I designed these coupling so that I could make a frame from PVC tubing for a dust cover for my Bambu A1 mini.

The couplings are designed for 19mm outer diameter tubing and have groves in them for glue.

I also made a coupling for a shore to make the frame extra sturdy and a coupling for a power supply cable pass trough.

I ordered a custom size cover from Aliexpress that I put over it. The PVC frame keeps the cover from touching the oily linear rails and makes

it easy to remove the cover from the printer.

The silver coupler from the last picture is my latest design. The white couplings in the picture are a older version. The latest version is quicker to printer more sturdy and has groves for glue.

How to use:

  • You will need PVC tube or pipe with 19mm outer diameter.
  • Cut the PVC tubes to desired lengths and glue them in. I used high tack glue / caulk for this.
  • Put some kind of cover / sheet over the frame to complete it. Clear plastic foil with tape also works.

Although I quickly ordered the AMS Lite unit for my A1 Mini and this cover no longer fits for my A1 Mini I still want to share it so others may benifit from it. It's universal and can be customized for every size 3D printer, or something else…
