Description

This is 3D printable model of the Intrepid Class NCC-74656 Voyager from the Star Trek. The model has the variable geometry pylons so it can be displayed with the pylons down or up like in a warp.

It is a kit so no glue needed. The different colored parts are separated for easier printing.
Pieces of the necelles and some details need to be separated into separate models in the slicer ;)

In the suffix of the files, there are color codes:
bl-blue
d-dark
o-orange/bronze
b-black
r-red

Files without the sufix are done with grey color

For the assembly, please have a look at the following video:

Love the model! it’s fantastic! I created a different mount for it so it attaches to the wall and can be displayed in different angles, check it out: https://makerworld.com/en/models/416638#profileId-318925

Yours came out great. What filament did you use for the main body?

I wanted to comment that a 3mm drill bit through the pinholes for joining the adjustable thruster sections gave me a great result. silk+ and PLA Translucent, some somber paint brushed over orange PLA Matte. 0.06mm layers with a 0.2mm nozzle. Slow and steady, it came out great. I tweaked the lettering in the stand, a little.

@user_1905583278 Brand new to 3d printing, can I just change the print file from .4 to .2mm nozzle for more detail in any print and the settings will update. Or what all would I need to change? I'm thinking for all my models I'll opt for .2 over .4 as time is much less a factor for me than quality.

Fantastic Model! I had to use a Dremel to clean up a couple support interfaces and deal with the nacelle pins not fitting, but nothing that wasn't easily handled. Thank you Martin

I am having a slightly problem with the pins/holes(😂) the it seems to be tapered and the pin it is not.. I wonder if it is my printer or what.. anyone have any idea .. use the settings as it changed the printer to P1S 0.4mm printing using Polymaker PolyTerra
