When using the AMS Lite but occasionally needing to switch to an external filament spool, a three-way connector proves highly advantageous.

While numerous similar designs exist within the community, I found them either cumbersome or inconvenient to connect and disconnect (perhaps my search skills were lacking), prompting me to create my own.

Given that the sections of PTFE tubing connecting to the AMS Lite and the five-way connector rarely require manipulation and represent the most common use case, a straightforward, direct connection is employed;

The PTFE tubing connecting to the external filament spool utilizes a PC4-M6 pneumatic quick-connect fitting for easy plug-and-play functionality.

To enhance dust and moisture protection, a dust plug is included, insertable into the pneumatic fitting when an external spool is not in use (while the moisture-proofing effect may be limited, it's better than nothing).

A complementary PTFE tubing clip (one end clamping this three-way connector) is also provided.

These components are optional, depending on your needs.

Additionally, a previous iteration featured a direct-insertion five-way connector, eliminating a section of PTFE tubing and enhancing ease of use.

However, its insertion end proved too slender and fragile, prone to breakage. Unless absolutely necessary, this version is discouraged.

PETG is the recommended printing material. This is especially crucial for the direct-insertion five-way version; PLA is extremely susceptible to breakage and essentially unusable.
