Description

These reptile feeding tongs will make feeding crickets, mealworms, and other insects to pets like bearded dragons safer and easier. Ideal for bearded dragons, chameleons, geckos, spiders, turtles, and more. Measuring 195mm (just under 8") long, these tongs keep your hand at a safe and comfortable distance from your pet's mouth.

The tong tips feature ridges for enhanced grip, ensuring insects stay secure during feeding. The tongs open and close smoothly for effortless use. I’ve also created optional tong holders: one designed to rest on the lip of an object, such as a sliding track and another that can be fixed to a wall or plywood using a #8 wood screw or drywall screw.

Printed using PLA Basic with normal(auto) supports. Tongs print in 30 minutes while the tongs with optional tong holder print in 47-50 minutes.

UPDATED MODEL: After receiving valuable feedback, I flattened the top of the tongs to allow them to lie flat on the print plate. Thus reducing the need for supports, reducing waste and shortening the print time by 7 minutes. Please feel free to scale the tongs to whatever size that will fit on your print bed if preferred.
