Refined Poker Chips – Three Variations for the Perfect Poker Experience
Following the success of the first version of my poker chips, I have now developed a revised and improved version available in three distinct variations. These new models are characterized by an elegant design, enhanced details, and a high-quality tactile experience—perfect for passionate poker enthusiasts seeking to elevate their game.
General Improvements:
- Unique Icons: Each chip now features a unique symbol, making it even more distinctive.
- Larger Peripheral Symbols: The symbols on the periphery have been enlarged for a more detailed and appealing aesthetic.
- Optimized Surface Texture: The improved surface texture provides a finer finish and a more engaging texture.
- Rounded Edges: The edges have been rounded for a pleasant feel in the hand, making handling more comfortable.
- Color Variability: The black, red, and white components depicted in the images can be easily customized to allow for a multitude of design options.
- Enhanced Tactile Feedback: A washer (M8 body washer, max. 23.7x8.5x1.9 mm) can be inserted to increase the weight of the chips and enhance their perceived quality. A pause is included at the appropriate point in the print profile.
Variations in Detail:
- Variation 1: Embedded text and symbols with a flat surface. This variation offers clear, highly legible details that stand out particularly well.
- Variation 2: Raised text with a colorless groove. This variation has been specifically optimized for low filament consumption and is ideally suited for two-color printing—even with manual filament changes.
- Variation 3: Similar to Variation 2, but with a colored groove. This variation requires an additional color change, making it potentially less suitable for manual filament changes, but it offers an even higher-quality design.
Development Background:
While searching for the perfect poker chips for the big and small blind, I could not find any ready-made models that met my expectations. Therefore, I decided to design my own set—and here is the result.
The chips have been scaled to clearly indicate at a glance who has placed the big or small blind. The set also includes a dealer chip in the same stylish design, completing the poker experience.
Printing and Material:
Printed with an A1 and Bambu Lab PLA Basic/Matte—this combination ensures excellent results.
