Description

[Updated 7/6/2024]  I recently used a cheaper filament and found the corners separating, so I have added a fillet to strenthen the tip box.

These simple prints are designed to be mounted on a wall or rack and store fishing rods horizontally. There are five pairs of STLs for 1 to 5 rods. The 5-rod version won't fit horizontally on my Ender 3 Pro, I had to print it vertically, but all of them can be printed on that size bed.

The “HandleBox” holds the rod handles. The “TipdBox” is designed to have a piece of foam pushed into it, and then slice the foam down the center of each rod slot. The tip slides snugly in there. I used a cut piece of pipe insulation I had sitting around.

The boxes are oriented “top-down” on the build plate, with the base with the screws suspended

Supports: yes

Material: PLA+ or PETG
