Description
A height-adjustable desk I made for my son lacked storage, so I decided to add a pegboard for hanging items. However, the desk isn't against a wall, so I needed a way to secure it.
These clamps are designed for 2020 series aluminum extrusions. The holes are slightly loose to allow for adjustment; you can use printed supports or leftover scraps to secure them tightly afterward. (The back is not visible; for aesthetics, you can print a wedge-like piece.)
The pegboard is a custom IKEA style with 5mm thickness. It fits snugly into the recessed edges of the 2020 extrusion. It works with desks up to 35mm thick.
