Description

This is a fully 3D-printable Maze Cube! No extra parts like screws or glue are needed.

The design is optimized to use as little material as possible, requires no supports, and remains sturdy and durable.

It also includes 15 cards for an exciting multiplayer game for 2 to 4 players.

As the ball you can use the 8mm stainless steel ball from Bambu Lab or my 3D printed ball.

Here is a video of the build:

Labyrinth Cube Build

Build Instructions:

Print the Following Parts:

  • 12x Clips: To connect the cube sides.
  • 2x Half Ball and 1x Ball Pin: To assemble the ball.
  • 6x Cube Sides: For the main body of the cube.
  • 15x Game Cards: For the multiplayer game.
  • 1x Final Point (Goal Pin): To mark the target point in the maze.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Prepare the Bottom and Top Parts:
    • Press 4 clips into the holes on the inside of the bottom part (part 5) and the top part (part 3).
  2. Connect the Side Parts:
    • Attach the 4 other cube sides (parts 1, 2, 4, and 6) to each other.
    • Use the numbers in the middle of each part to identify the pieces.
    • Match the number on the side of each part to the corresponding side it connects to.
  3. Assemble the Cube:
    • Attach the bottom part (part 5) to the connected sides.
    • Repeat this with the top part (part 3).
  4. Assemble the Ball:
    • Press the ball pin into one half ball.
    • Then connect the other half ball to complete the ball.

Game Instructions:

Players:

  • 2 to 4 players.

Setup:

  1. Shuffle the deck of cards.
  2. The first player draws a random card from the top of the deck.
  3. Place the goal pin at the position marked by the red dot on the card.

Gameplay:

  1. The player begins their turn by placing the ball at the starting point of the cube.
  2. They have 1 minute to guide the ball to the goal pin without touching it.
    • If they succeed, they keep the card.
    • If they fail, the card goes back into the deck.
  3. After the turn, the next player takes their turn.

Game End:

  • The game ends when all cards have been claimed by the players.
  • The player with the most cards wins!

Rules:

  • No touching the ball during the game.
  • No peeking at the paths inside the cube before the turn starts.
