Description

Following on from the success of my tilted drill bit holder for metric size bits, it seemed only right to create one for imperial drill bit organisation.  While I don't have too many imperial bits (hence the lack of bits in the photo, those that I tested fitted perfectly.  The model has 3 walls so if you find that any of the holes seem a bit tight, you can always use the drill bit to open it out.  The advantage of the 30 degree tilt is that you can mount multiple holders close together on the wall and still retrieve bits easily.  For the smaller size bit that tend to break more frequently, I added space for 3 of each size up to 1/8 inch.  Initially I designed it for smooth plate print but I now think it looks better with the textured plate finish.  I used Black and white filament for maximum contrast but any light and dark combination will work as illustrated in the  metric version shown above in the photo.
